established in 1872 as a wholesaler / distributor of industrial pipe,
valves and fittings. In 1979 Washburn expanded its product offering with
the acquisition of Waites Company, a specialty industrial distributor
focusing on abrasives, cutting tools, precision tools and industrial
supplies. In recent years, Washburn-Garfield has established itself as a
dedicated leader in industrial controls. Founded and still located in
Worcester, Massachusetts, we are centrally located to serve the entire
New England region for all these needs.
Washburn-Garfield prides itself in its reputation as having the most

technical requirements. Our broad customer base consists of original
equipment manufacturers (OEM), maintenance repair & operations (MRO),
